Responsibility

Social Responsibility

Strong communities are built on strong relationships.

This is why we listen to views from all sections of the community – to understand what really matters to people and businesses. One example of this is the Forging Futures Campus, our pioneering new skills centre at Kirkstall Forge, Leeds. Forging Futures provides vocational training, site visits and work experience for students, local people and young people who are not in education, employment or training.

History

Bringing Temple back to Life

In terms of commercial vision and business success, Holbeck has history. It was here that the industrial revolution took hold in Leeds with the emergence of the flax-spinning industry, bringing growth and prosperity to the city. At the heart of the area, John Marshall’s Egyptian-inspired Temple Works stands as a symbol of Holbeck’s former industrial prowess, while today it gives its name to the current plans for development, Temple.
